to the founder of the feast

George says, "I declare this meal to be... delicious!"

Last night Ashley made beet gnocchi that was out of this world.  George probably ate about two pounds worth.  We (George & I) are really lucky to have Ashley, who makes us delicious meals to eat, even if she doesn't feel like eating them.

Thanks mom/honey!

Love,

George & David

We must give a shout out to Kimber who first discovered George's passion for beet gnocchi. Thanks Kimber!

Why don't you feel like eating, Ashley?? Do you have an announcement to make?

Ooohhh...and I would love the recipe, please. I know, Marissa wants a recipe, what? You know I will just give it to Sean to make it for me!

Ha-- that is so funny that you called it out. We do not have an announcement to make-but I was sure that everyone was going to suspect I had morning sickness. Sadly, I only enjoy beet gnocchi when they have been prepared for me...something about the smell of boiling cheese and beets kind of ruins it for me by the time its ready to eat.

It's better if you blend up the beets-- it turns out gross if there is big chunks.

George has good taste. A Russian palate for the beets. I guess he hasn't discovered your stash of twinkies under your bed yet?

I really want the recipe too. I think you're going to have to post it on the blog. Ashely is impressive in every way.

I just noticed that you shared a link to the recipe. I'm not too smart.
